Gail F. Ferri, 77, of Nashua, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at her home. She was born on October 7, 1947, in Providence, RI to the late Gabriel and Julia (Parrillo) Ferri.
Growing up she received her education in the Cranston, RI school system. For many years following high school she worked at Sanders/Lockheed Martin. More recently, she procured her manicurist license and worked out of her home.
In her free time, Gail enjoyed camping, cruising, spending time with friends and family, eating at her favorite Chinese restaurant and taking care of her little Yorkshire, Lily. Her nieces and nephew remember sleepovers at Auntie Gails house where they could stay in their PJ’s all day, play games, watch movies and make their favorite pocket sandwiches and cookies. She was a great big sister to her two younger brothers growing up. When she got together with her Uncle Tommy and Uncle Walter, they were the life of the party. She loved a good time and was known for her delicious cooking (especially her deviled eggs & frittatas), her generosity and her great sense of humor.
Gail is survived by her siblings Steven Vincent Ferri (Susan) and Russell Gabriel Ferri, her nieces Gina Ferri, Andrea Weiss (Robert), nephew and godson Matthew Ferri, and her great nieces Vienna Joy Weiss and Sierra Grace Weiss. She also leaves behind her goddaughter Laura Pomeroy, and many close friends and relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by Nana Marro who was like a second mother to her, her Uncle Tommy, and her ‘best, best’ friend Sheila Cunniff, whom she spent many years traveling, enjoying life and making many happy memories.
Family and friends are invited to Gail’s visitation on SATURDAY, November 23rd from 11 AM until 12 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua, NH.
