George Edward Moses Obituary

George Edward Moses, 81, of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025. Born on August 2, 1944, in Portland, Maine, he was the son of the late John F. Moses and Kathryn R. Foster.

A proud veteran, George honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he dedicated his career to education, working as a special education teacher for the Nashua School District. His compassion, patience, and commitment to helping students reach their full potential touched countless lives over the years.

In his free time, George enjoyed gardening and showing dogs, particularly his beloved Lhasa Apsos, including two Best in Show winners. He was a member of the Souhegan Kennel Club, Merrimack Lhasa Apso Club, and Lhasa Apso Club of America.

George is survived by his sister, Judy Ewing, and niece, Katy Cava, both of California, as well as many dear friends from the Nashua School District and his show dog family.

A Celebration of Life is being planned in Nashua for late April 2026. Final details to be announced.
