Gerard Bisson, 83, died peacefully Thursday, January 21, 2021,
at Community Hospice House in Merrimack surrounded by his loving family. He is the beloved husband of Rachel (Vachon) Bisson with whom he shared 67 years of a loving relationship and marriage.
Gerard was born in St. Luc, Quebec, Canada, on August 17, 1937, and was the son of the late Joseph and Zelir (Marcoux) Bisson.
For many years, he was employed as a baker for Morin’s Bakery in Lawrence, Massachusetts. He also owned and operated his own house painting company until his retirement.
In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and spending time with his grand-dog, Abby. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family.
In addition to his wife, Rachel, he is survived by his two children, Monelle Bisson of Merrimack and her partner Philip Rosenblatt and Yvan Bisson and his wife Svetlana of San Diego, CA; as well as his two siblings, Marielle Labrecque and her husband Raymond of Salem, NH and Lauris Pomeroy and her husband Paul of Sanford, ME; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Gerard was predeceased by his two sons, Joseph and Andre Bisson as well as his brother Renald Bisson.
Relatives and friends are invited to Gerard’s WALK THORUGH visitation on MONDAY, January 25th from 5pm until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Mass will be held on TUESDAY, January 26th at 10 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W Hollis Street, Nashua. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Burial will take place at a later date in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
