Gerard “Jerry” Gagnon, 92, passed away at home December 3, 2021 after a brief illness with his loving wife and son by his side.
He was born November 28, 1929 and was the son of the late Armand and Henriette (Heon) Gagnon. He was self employed as a Painting Contractor for over 60 years. He served his country in the Marines during the Korean War.
Jerry loved to go fishing in the summer at Sunset Lake in Hampstead, NH and in the fall loved to split wood with his nephews John and Tom and with his grand-nephews Danny, Jack, and Joe Barowski.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years Lucille (Marquis) Gagnon; son, David Gagnon; and daughter, Denise Kulingoski and her husband Clyde; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Jerry is also survived by his sisters, Mariette Barowski and Sr. Claudette Gagnon; his sisters-in-law Priscilla Gagnon and Sr. Claire Marquis; a brother-in-law Ernest Marquis and dear family friend Estelle Neveu. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins.
Jerry was predeceased by his parents, his brother Paul Gagnon, brother-in-law Edward Barowski and granddaughter Amy.
Relatives and friends are invited to Jerry’s Funeral Mass on THURSDAY, December 9th at 10 AM in St. Kathryn Church, 4 Dracut Road, Hudson, NH. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Burial will take place in New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH on December 9th at 2PM.
