Gerard R. “Jerry” Sirois, 72, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 26, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He is the beloved husband of Carolyn (Gillogly) Sirois with whom she shared 35 years of marriage.
Jerry was born in Nashua on June 22, 1949, and he is the son of the late Simon and Jeanne D’Arc (St. Laurent) Sirois.
For 52 years, he owned and operated Sirois and Son Appliance until his retirement.
In his free time, Jerry was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed golfing and playing cards. Jerry would enjoy traveling and cruising with his wife to various destinations. Family was always Jerry’s number one priority and truly enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. His family would have annual family reunions for the past 25 years rotating locations between Canada and the United States.
In addition to his wife, Carolyn, he is survived by four children, Matthew Sirois and his wife Holly of Nashua, and Tamra Sirois of Greenville, SC, Heidi Buser and her husband John of Melrose, MA, James Farmer and his wife Katie of Pepperell, MA; as well as his four grandchildren, Dominic Sirois, Grace Buser, Emily Castle, and Joseph Castle. He is also survived by his eight siblings, Annie Sirois, Ray Sirois and his wife Cindy, Simone Sirois, Norman Sirois and his wife Debra, Joanne Sirois, Roger Sirois and his wife Cathy, Yvette Joslin and her husband Barry, and Denise Barnett and her husband James; as well as his good friend, Valerie Denault of Nashua; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family in Canada.
Jerry was predeceased by his four siblings, Sue Catanzazo, Jackie Fair, Tom Sirois, and Lorraine Smart.
Relatives and friends are invited to Jerry’s visitation on MONDAY, July 5, 2021, from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Mass will be held on TUESDAY, July 6th at 10 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
