Irene J. (Gamache) Boucher

Irene J. Boucher (Gamache), 92, died December 5, 2022 after a short illness. She was a lifelong resident of Nashua NH. In 1954 she married Paul and spent 57 loving years together, until his passing in 2011.

Irene graduated from Saint Louis de Gonzague High School.  She worked as a stay-at-home mom with love and pride.   After the children were grown, she worked at Centronix for many years.  In retirement she and Paul loved winter months with friends and family in Myrtle Beach, summer weekends at “The Camp” in NH and bucket list travels, including several National Parks.   She also loved an immaculate home, gardening, playing cards, movies with the ladies, rocking her grandkids, Friday and Sunday dinners with her sister Pauline and was THE #1 Patriots Fan!

Irene leaves her 3 sons; Ron and wife Nancy Boucher of Peach Tree City, GA; David and wife Beth Boucher of Reading, MA; Peter and wife Shelly Boucher of Sutton, NH.  She was the awesome grandmother “Grammy” to Courtney, Kendra, Christopher, Chelsey, Tanner and Shane and great-grandmother “GG” to Adeline, Charlotte, Finn and Aiden’s planned arrival in December.  Irene is also survived by her loving sister and best friend Pauline Lamb of Hudson NH, as well as several nieces and nephews.  Irene is predeceased by her husband Paul and siblings; Armand, Pearl, Fudgy, Madeline, and Bobby.

A funeral mass will be at Saint Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W Hollis St, Nashua, NH Friday December 9th at 10AM, with burial to follow at St. Louis Cemetery, 752 W Hollis St, Nashua.  Everyone is welcome to celebrate Irene for lunch and memories at Nashua Country Club at 25 Fairway Street, Nashua at 11:30.
