Irene Archambault Obituary

Irene Marie Archambault, 94, died peacefully at her home in Florida on December 16, 2020. She was born in Nashua, NH on March 15, 1926. Irene was the loving daughter of Joseph E. St Pierre and Marguerite Boggis St Pierre, and the beloved wife of Louis C. Archambault.

She graduated from St. Louis High School and worked at St Pierre Jeweler's, her father's business, for several years. At age 20, Irene married the love of her life, Louis C. Archambault following his tour of duty with the US Army 85th Evacuation Hospital in France and Germany during WWII. They were married for over 70 happy years.

Irene worked in the offices of Robert O'Neil, MD, and Nasry Stefan, MD for several years before becoming the Administrative Secretary at St. Joseph School of Nursing for 20 years.

She was an accomplished pianist who shared her talent with family, and groups to which she belonged. For several years, Irene provided the accompaniment for the Bishop Guertin High School Musicales.

Irene was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary, the St. Louis Guild, and the Associates of St. Marguerite D'Youville. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family.

Her children will remember Irene for her unconditional love, her laughter and wit, how she enjoyed meeting and talking with people whether she knew them or not, and her deep faith in God.

Irene was predeceased by her husband, Louis who died in March 2017. She is survived by her 5 children: Denise Richard of Orlando, FL, Pierre Archambault and Jean Stawarz of Westhampton, MA, Ernest and Diana Archambault of Cocoa, FL, Daniel and Terrie Archambault of Ocala, FL, Lisa and Barbara Beelle of Concord, NH. Seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, J. Paul Archambault and his wife, Doris, sisters-in­ law Genevieve Cormier, Therese Archambault and Bertha Cabana all of Nashua, NH, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W. Hollis St. Nashua, NH on Thursday April 21, 2022 at 10 AM. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will be held at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH, for immediate family members. Arrangements entrusted to ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.
