James T. Gallagher Jr.

James Thomas Gallagher Jr, 78, of Allenstown, NH, went to be with the Holy Father on July 15, 2021.

James also served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict. James was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He also enjoyed all his time spent with his family in good times and in sad times.

James was retired from Sears corporation and was a mason for many years. He was also a member of Post 48 American Legion for over 50 years.

James is predeceased by his father James T Gallagher Sr and by his mother Theresa I. (Cote) Gallagher, and his sister Debra J (Gallagher) St. Louis.

James is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Marie (Dugan) Gallagher as well as his son Sean Gallagher, and by four brothers and two sisters, Robert D. Gallagher and his wife Jan, Sally R. Drevojan and her husband Ray, Ronald L. Gallagher, Scott D. Gallagher and his wife Ginny, Richard J. Gallagher and his wife Melissa and Robin J Martin and her husband Normand. James is also survived by his three grandchildren, Gillian Gallagher, Teagan Gallagher, and Travis Gallagher. James is also survived by two brothers-in-laws, Alan “Al” St. Louis, William (Billy) Dugan and his wife Priscilla. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

There are no visiting hours, his burial will take place on August 20th at 3 PM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery located 110 Daniel Webster Highway Boscawen, NH 03303-2413. Family and friends are asked to meet at the Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Rochette Funeral Home 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.
