James Andrew “Patrick” Halloran, lovingly known as “Jamie” passed away unexpectedly on September 25, 2025.
Born in Newbury, he was the youngest of nine children of John and Elizabeth Halloran. Jamie grew up enjoying the open fields and farms of his hometown and developed a lifelong passion for tennis honing his skills at Old Town Country Club and Newburyport Racquet Club. He was a member of the Milford High 1982 State Championship Tennis Team.
He was a Veteran of the US Army and attended Marist College. His final years were spent in the Nashua area where he was known as an avid cyclist, devoted Boston Sports fan, and a man admired for his resilience, kindness, and generosity.
He is survived by his siblings; Bernadette Halloran, Elizabeth (Halloran) Knox (Frank), Mark Halloran, Brian Halloran (Sheila), Sheila (Halloran) Bouvier (Lou) and Peter Halloran (Sue), along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Newburyport, MA on October 10, 2025 at 10:30 am, followed by burial with Military Honors at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
