Jeanette M. (MacDonald) LaFrance

NASHUA—Jeanette M. (MacDonald) LaFrance, 56, of Nashua, NH passed away on August 14, 2019 at Southern NH Medical Center. 

Jeanette was born on November 18, 1962 in Dorchester, MA, a daughter of the late Charles and Loretta (Summerfold) MacDonald. 

She had been a longtime resident of Nashua, and had been employed at Southern NH Medical Center for over 30 years.  She loved gardening, hummingbirds, blue jays, butterflies and rabbits. 

Jeanette is survived a beloved son, Brian K. LaFrance, Jr. of Nashua, four brothers; Joseph MacDonald and his wife Elizabeth of Nashua, Charles MacDonald and his wife Tracey of Florida, John MacDonald and his wife Charlotte of Bedford, MA and George MacDonald and his wife Holly of Milford, her close friend and “little sister” Renee McLaughlin of Nashua,  uncle Hank and aunt Linda, friends; Margaret Wandrey of Milford, Cindy Lonergan of Nashua and  Gigi Gagne of Nashua and many loving nieces and cousins as well as her Southern NH Medical Center family. 

She was predeceased by her friend and former husband, Brian LaFrance who died February 21, 2019 as well as a good friend, June Edwards

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Southern NH Medical Center, especially the dieticians, room service and everyone in the kitchen that assisted her.

SERVICES:  Visiting hours will be held on Thursday August 22, 2019 from 4 to 8 PM in the Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday August 23, 2019 in St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring St., Nashua at 9:30 AM.   Burial will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Nashua.  In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, PO Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502.
