Jeanne Levesque, 64, of Nashua, New Hampshire passed away on September 16, 2022 after a period of declining health. Jeanne was born to Henry Levesque and Theresa Moreau in 1957 in Nashua, New Hampshire.
Jeanne worked at Rexam for 38 years zooming around the warehouse on her fork truck loading eighteen¬ wheelers. She was active in Local 875 of the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union as Steward and President. After the company closed, Jeanne continued to help organize reunions of coworkers and loved recounting stories of all of the good times they shared.
Outside of work, Jeanne enjoyed life. A die hard Red Sox fan, Jeanne yelled at the players on TV with the same vigor she did at the many games she attended at Fenway Park. She proudly drove around with her YAZ license plate to celebrate her love of her favorite player. Jeanne enjoyed country music, especially Kenny Rogers and Alabama and attended many concerts. With a glass of iced water by her side, Jeanne loved playing cards with her family and shared so many laughs around the kitchen table.
Even when faced with difficult health concerns, Jeanne made the best of every situation. Easily making friends with everyone from the driver who took her to appointments, to the staff at the dialysis center. The family would like to express their gratitude to the DaVita staff for the great care they provided to Jeanne for many years.
Jeanne is predeceased by her parents, Henry and Theresa Levesque; her brother, Roger Levesque and his wife, Meretta Levesque; and her two sisters, Louise and Patricia Levesque. She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Normand and Susan Levesque, of Nashua, New Hampshire; a sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Steven Tardif, of Nashua, New Hampshire, with whom she made her home; and many other loving family members and friends. Jeanne will be remembered for her contagious laugh and the bright smile she shared with everyone she met.
Jeanne’s funeral mass will be held on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2022 AT 10AM in St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 West Hollis Street, Nashua, NH. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, 32 Pinehill Ave., Nashua, NH.
