Jeannine K. Dobbs, 84, died peacefully Friday, November 20, 2020, at Nashua Crossing with her husband by her side. She is the beloved wife of Otto Hoover Dobbs with whom she shared 63 years of marriage.
Jeannine was born in Lima, Ohio, on December 29, 1935, and was the daughter of the late Harry and Ella (Greene) Eaton. She attended the University of New Hampshire where she graduated with her PhD in English.
For many years, Jeannine was a lifelong educator, working as a professor at Harvard University as well as University of New Hampshire teaching English until her retirement.
In her free time, she enjoyed antiquing which she even created into a business. Jeannine also loved to travel with her husband to various destinations like Europe annually.
She is survived by many dear friends that have become her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to Jeannines’ graveside service and interment on TUESDAY, December 8th at 11:30 AM in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
