Jeffrey "Jeff" L. Dopson

Jeffrey L. Dopson, of Nashua, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025, at the age of 73 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack. Jeffrey was born on April 18, 1951, in Milwaukee, WI to the late Harry and Joann (Barber) Dopson.

Growing up, Jeff received his education in the Merrimack School System, graduating from Merrimack High School. He was the beloved husband of Donna L (Boucher) Dopson for over 43 years. For many years Jeff was employed as a laser tech for Integrity Laser.

Outside of his work, Jeff had a deep passion for music, especially classic rock. He enjoyed playing both the piano and guitar, often filling his home with melodies that brought joy to those around him. His love for music was a significant part of who he was and brought him comfort and joy throughout his life.

Jeff enjoyed hiking and camping, often spending time in the White Mountains, appreciating the tranquility and beauty of the outdoors. These experiences brought him peace and inspired many fond memories with friends and family.

Jeff was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Jeff’s legacy will live on in the music he loved, the memories he created, the sense of humor he shared with those around him and the lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

 He is survived by his wife Donna, his children; Katie Dopson of Nashua and James Dopson and partner Brian Masson of Nashua, his siblings; Timothy Dopson and wife Christine of Northwood, NH and Michael Dopson and wife Raeann of Merrimack; his uncle Thomas Barber of Arden Hills, MN; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.

Jeff was predeceased by his sister Sheryl Dopson.

Family and friends are invited to Jeff’s visitation on WEDNESDAY, March 19th from 5 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His funeral service will take place on Thursday March 20th at 10:30 AM at First Church, 7 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack. Kindly meet at church.
