Joanne A. Haines (aka “Grammie Dodo” / Bobo), 85, passed peacefully on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Joanne was born at Baker Memorial Hospital, in Boston, Massachusetts on November 5, 1938, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Ariel) Kearns. She received her education in the Boston School System.
She managed to be home for her children their entire childhood and for over 30 years, she worked as an LNA for Carleton-Willard Village until her retirement.
Joanne was an avid hockey fan, attending well over 2000 hockey games in her lifetime, all of them supporting her children and grandchildren. Everyone’s #1 biggest fan, going to every game possible! She was also known to enjoy visiting various casinos with her friends and family. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family, who she loved deeply.
Joanne is survived by her three children James F. Robbins Jr. and his wife Kathy of Nashua; Dianne Constant and her husband Kenneth of Nashua and Matthew E. Robbins and his wife Kathleen of Tyngsboro, MA; and her eight grandchildren, Melissa Robbins, Brendan Robbins, Kyle Robbins, Kelly Robbins, Christopher Constant, Joshua Constant, Jason Constant and Ashley Constant.
She was predeceased by her sister, Susan Madden, her brother Jospeh Kearns, her former husbands, James F. Robbins Sr. and Ralph Haines as well as her two beloved cats, Angel, and Rosie.
A cherished mother, grandmother and even more. Who will be forever loved and missed.
