Joyce A. Roy

Joyce A. Roy, 82, of Nashua, passed away on June 11, 2025, just one day shy of her 83rd birthday. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Roy with whom she shared 38 years of marriage prior to his passing on June 18, 2010.

Born in Claremont, NH, on June 12, 1942, Joyce was the daughter of the late Thelma (Belrose) and Michael McGuire. She worked in assembly for Norton’s, where her dedication and strong work ethic left a lasting impression.

In Joyce’s free time, she found joy in knitting, relaxing in the company of her beloved Chihuahua, Bubbi, and escaping to Florida during the winter months to soak up the sun. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family she loved deeply.

She is survived by her children: Jodi Bryson of Manchester; Shelley Roy of Lowell, MA; Jami Roy and his wife, Tammey, of Manchester; Joey Roy of Nashua; Charles Roy and his wife, Stephanie, of Florida; and her stepson, James Roy of Nashua. Joyce also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Roy and her son, Jason Roy.

Relatives and friends are invited to Joyce’s visitation on TUESDAY, June 17th  from 6 until 8 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will be held on WEDNESDAY, June 18th  at 9 AM in Saint Patrick Church, 29 Spring St., Nashua. Her interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 101 Kinsley St., Nashua, NH.
