Karel J. Houtenbrink

Karel J. Houtenbrink, 59, of Hudson, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024, at his home. He was born February 12th, 1964, in Rome, New York. For 15 years Karel was employed by Associated Concrete Coatings.

Karel was a dedicated and hard worker. In his free time, he loved fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed racing drag cars and riding his side by side or 4 wheeling whenever he could. Karel loved to drive his son Jon’s Camaro. He loved his 6 pugs dearly and to snuggle them after a long days work. Karel loved to spend time with his family, especially his 4 grandkids. He will be missed by all who had a chance to meet him.

Karel is survived by his significant other Julie Leavitt, his three children Krista Mayle (Houtenbrink), and her husband, Brandon Mayle, Jon Porter, Anthony Couris, and his four grandchildren Liam, Kinsley, Emily, and Matthew, his three siblings Roxanne Stolarczyk, Tim Teserio, and Steve Teserio, his mother-in-law Barbara Leavitt, his brother-in-law Mark Leavitt, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to Karel’s memorial service at Heritage Baptist Church, 105 Lock Street, Nashua on WEDNESDAY, February 7, 2024, at 4 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Karel’s name to Heritage Baptist Church.
