Karen (McBreen) Welch

Karen McBreen Welch, 62, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, April 19, 2021.

Karen was born in Waltham, Massachusetts on December 11, 1958 and is the daughter of Joanne (Maloney) McBreen of Bedford, NH and the late Joseph McBreen.

For many years, Karen was employed by various retailers. Most memorably she worked for GAP as well as American Eagle.

Above all, Karen cherished time spent with her beloved family. She was an avid reader and loved her daily dose of Dunkin Donuts coffee and reality TV.

In addition to her mother, Joanne, she is survived by her five children, Jonathan Welch and his wife Jenn Hichborn of Dorchester, MA, Timothy Welch and his wife Julia of Wakefield, MA, Katie Torres-Welch and her husband Daniel of Northfield, OH, Daniel Welch and his girlfriend Laurie Brandt of Providence, RI, and Michael Welch of East Providence, RI; her two grandchildren, Alexander Welch and Jackson Welch; her beloved dog, Gracie; as well as her grand-dogs, Charlie, Dozer and Rusty. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins; her former husband Robert Welch of Westford, MA. Karen was also a friend of Bill, proudly celebrating 20 years of sobriety this past December.

Karen was predeceased by her father, Joseph as well as her sister, Susan LeClaire.

Relatives and friends are invited to Karen’s WALK THROUGH visitation on THURSDAY, April 29th from 5 until 8 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Service will take place on FRIDAY, April 30th at 11 AM in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, 104 Concord Road, Acton, MA. Burial and committal prayers will take place at 12:45 PM, KINDLY MEET AT THE CEMETERY.
