Kathleen "Kathy" M. Anderson

Kathleen "Kathy'' M. Anderson, 63 (1961 -2025) of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away on May 11th, 2025, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Medina, New York on September 2nd, 1961, to the late James and Marguerite Moriarty.

Kathy graduated from Medina High School in 1979 and Rochester Institute of Technology in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She worked in the accounting field for various organizations, ultimately retiring from Nashua Community College where she served as the Bursar. In between, she took time off from her career to raise her family which she considered her most important role.

She enjoyed traveling and completed many family Disney trips as well as several visits to Europe and Ireland, and a bucket list tour of the Hawaii islands. Kathy just completed a family Disney cruise that she had been planning for several years. She loved shopping for her grandchildren and was known for her generosity to all.

Kathy enthusiastically embraced life, sharing her joys with her large circle of friends and family with whom she enjoyed spending holidays and summer vacations.

She is survived by her husband Richard Anderson and daughters Nicole Foley (husband Robert), Christina Anderson and Jillian Anderson (husband Lincoln), as well as siblings Mary Ellen Moriarty, Thomas (Patty) Moriarty, Timothy (Terri) Moriarty and Elizabeth (Ronald) Scordino, and grandchildren Parker and Kiera Foley.

Family and friends are invited to Kathleen’s visitation on THURSDAY, May 15th from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her funeral mass will take place on FRIDAY, May 16th at 10 AM at St. Kathryn’s Parish, 4 Dracut Rd. Hudson. Kindly meet at church. Cremation will follow and interment will take place at the convenience of her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations may be made to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation or the Mass General Hospital Cancer Center.
