Leo Joseph Langevin, 88, died peacefully on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of the late Madeleine G. (Leclair) Langevin with whom he shared 59 years of marriage prior to her passing in March of 2014.
Leo was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on March 31, 1934, and was the son of the late Romeo and Jean (Gelinas) Langevin.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy until he was honorably discharged in 1955.
For many years, he was employed as a driver for Hammar Hardware in Nashua.
In his free time, Leo thoroughly enjoyed tending to his yard and lawn. He was very proud to keep a neat and tidy property at his home. He also loved movies, various TV shows, tinkering with electronics, and listening to country music. He was an animal lover but cats had a special place in his heart. In his early years, he traveled to many destinations, loved to take a daily drive with Madeleine, and also enjoyed walking. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family, who loved him deeply.
Leo is survived by his nieces, Carol Klinkhamer, Diane Marcum, and Karen Plumley; his nephew Brian Lavoie; his brother-in-law Albert Leclair and his wife Beverly; as well as his many grand nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to Leo’s graveside service and presentation of military honors on FRIDAY, March 31st at 10 AM in St. Louis Cemetery, 752 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Arrangements entrusted to the care of ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.
