Lois Harris Obituary

Lois Harris, 83, passed away on March 19, 2025, surrounded by her family following a recent diagnosis of cancer. The family would like to thank the nurses of Home Health Care and Hospice of Merrimack, NH for the care and kindness they had for Lois and her family during her final days.

Lois's greatest happiness came from spending time with her family and friends.  She spoke fondly of her visits to Block Island, RI with her sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Lew.  Lois loved cooking - gatherings won't be the same without her coleslaw or turnips.  She had a passion for watching golf and listening to audio books in her later years.

She is survived by daughters Lynn (Kevin) Quigley, Julie (Jon) Smith, Kathy (Robb) York; son in law, Michael Gould; brother, Ron Schneider; sister, Ann Fagan; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Mary Ellen Gould; parents, Joseph and Viola Schneider; brother, George Schneider; sisters in law, Reggie Schneider and Jini Schneider; brother in law, Lewis Fagan and niece, Lou Ann Doehrer.

At Lois's request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Greater Nashua Mental Health in memory of Lois's daughter, Mary Ellen Gould by visiting gnmhc.org
