Lorraine Dionne Obituary

Lorraine L. Dionne, 95, died peacefully on Monday, November 24, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Dionne with whom she shared 57 years of marriage prior to his passing on December 26, 2007.

Lorraine was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on December 20, 1929 and was the daughter of the late George and Anita (Maynard) Landry. She received her education in the Nashua School System and was a graduate of Nashua High School with the class of 1948.

Lorraine was a woman of many interests and talents, with a deep love for books, word puzzles, and collecting unique knick-knacks, including her beloved David Winter Cottages. She had a special fondness for crafting, pouring her heart into creating handmade gifts for her family, often knitting warm, thoughtful sweaters for her children and grandchildren. Alongside her late husband, Albert, Lorraine embraced the joy of travel, embarking on memorable journeys to places like Bermuda and taking cross-country trips, often in the company of their dear friends, Evelyn and Willie Vermette. A devoted member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Nashua, Lorraine’s faith was an integral part of her life. Yet, above all, it was the time spent with her family that she cherished the most. Her love for them was unwavering, and her greatest joy came from being surrounded by those she held most dear.

She is survived by her four children, David Dionne and his wife Claudia of Nashua, Michael Dionne and his wife Jeanne of Nashua, Debra Bailey of Nashua, and Thomas Dionne of Cambridge, MA; her eight grandchildren, Sara, Amanda, Craig, Erinn, Timothy, Kristin, Samantha and Rebecca. She is also survived by her 13 great-grandchildren; her two siblings, Norman Landry and his wife Louise of Old Saybrook, CT and Jacqueline Landry of Manchester; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sister Claudette Bradley and her husband Richard.

At Lorraine’s request, all services were held privately. Her interment was held in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
