Lucille Leophile (Nolin) L’Heureux, 81, of Nashua, passed away at her home on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Paul L’Heureux with whom she shared 39 years of marriage until his passing in 2007.
Lucille was born March 28, 1943, in Berlin, NH to the late Eddie and Marie (Gilbert) Nolin.
Growing up, she received her education at Notre Dame Academy in Berlin, graduating with the class of 1961, before going to obtain an associate’s degree from Rivier College.
For 24 years she worked as a loan officer at Nashua Trust Company, before becoming a social worker at The Salvation Army from 1992 until her retirement.
Lucille was very sociable, as she enjoyed playing cards and going to lunch with her friends. She also enjoyed traveling with her late husband and dear friends and family Maurice and Priscille, including trips to Aruba and an Alaskan Cruise. Lucille enjoyed taking bus trips to various destinations as well and loved to spend time at York Beach, Maine. Above all else, Lucille was a loving aunt to several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She never missed an opportunity to let her family know that she loved each of them dearly.
Lucille is survived by her nieces and nephews, Ronald, Donald, Rachel, Paul, Michael, Karen, Maureen, Christine, Mark and Linda, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband Paul, Lucille was predeceased by her brother Raymond Nolin, sister Lorraine Mooney, niece and goddaughter Lisa McHenry, niece Pauline Dupuis, great nephew Nicholas L’Heureux, and nephew Patrick Mooney.
Family and friends are invited to Lucille’s visitation on WEDNESDAY, September 11th from 5 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND & CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will take place on THURSDAY September 12th at 10 AM at St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 West Hollis Street, Nashua. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Hudson.
