Lucille P. Payeur

Lucille Pauline Payeur, 101, passed away peacefully at Holy Cross Health Center in Manchester, NH on August 10, 2023.

Lucille was born on July 16, 1922, in Nashua, NH to the late Arthur and Diane (Dube) Berube. Growing up she attended St. Francis Xavier School. For many years she was employed in the Knitting Mill and then went on to work at Sprague Electric and retired from Sanders in 1984. She was the widow of Paul Boudreau who predeceased her in 1968 and Leonard Payeur who predeceased her in 1984.

In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo, tending to her beautiful garden, and she loved going for walks. She also enjoyed bowling and watching golf on TV. Most importantly she cherished spending time with her grandkids and family.

The family would like to give a warm thank you to the Holy Cross Center, who treated Lucille like family for the last 5 years that she had spent with them.

Lucille is survived by her daughter Diane Litalien and her husband Norman of Nashua, her four grandchildren Craig Litalien of Nashua, Kevin Litalien and his wife Michelle of Nashua, Joshua Litalien of Nashua, and Caleb Litalien of Nashua, her two great grand children Nathan and Julianna Litalien, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings John and his wife Lorraine Berube, Gerard and his wife Yvonne Berube, Adrien Berube, Conrad Berube, and Rachel Levesque and her husband Robert.

Family and friends are invited to Lucille’s funeral mass on THURSDAY August 17th at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 West Holis Street, Nashua. KINDLY MEET CHURCH. Interment will take place at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Nashua. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Lucille’s name to Holy Cross, 357 Island Pond Road, Manchester, NH 03109.
