Luis Zapata

NASHUA- Luis A. Zapata, 87, died peacefully at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center on Monday, January 25, 2021. He is the beloved husband of Maria Elderly Arango de Zapata.

Luis was born in Hispania Antioquia, Colombia on December 8, 1933. He was the son of the late Jose de los Santos Zapata and Petronila Zapata.

For many years, he was employed as an assembler until his retirement.

In addition to his wife, Maria Elderly, he is survived by his children, Maria E. Santos Zapata, Julio Cesar Zapata A., Maria Isabel Zapata A., Maria Teresa Zapata A., Diana Patricia Zapata, Norena Zapata A., Juan Antonio Zapata A. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, Alejandro Corrales Zapata, Diana Romero Zapata, Luis Carlos Romero Zapata, Liliana Santos Zapata, Sebastian Ramirez Zapata, Estaban Vasquez Zapata, David Ramirez Zapata, Estefania Ramirez Zapata, Angela Juliana Buritica Zapata, Laura Vasquez Zapata, Mateo Zapata Lopez, Juanita Zapata Quintana, and Jacobo Zapata Quintana.

Relatives and friends are invited to Luis’ WALK THROUGH visitation on SUNDAY, January 31st from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Mass will be held on MONDAY, February 1st at 10 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W Hollis Street, Nashua. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Cremation will follow.
