M.J. Genevieve "Jenny" Cormier

M. J Genevieve Cormier (nee Archambault) passed away on March 9, 2023 with her family by her side.

Jenny (as she was affectionately called) was born on May 28, 1929. She was born to Joseph and Adrienne (nee Brodeur) Archambault in Nashua, NH.

She met the love of her life Raymond G. Cormier when she was seven years old and he was ten. They grew up right next to each other and there was a joke between the families about who jumped the fence first.

Together they raised four children. She was very active in their lives, whether it be sports, music or other activities. They were sure to keep her busy.

Together, with my father they belonged to the Nashua Country Club where they golfed into their 80’s. They were avid tennis players and skiers in their younger years. They also shared their love of travel!

Left to cherish her memories are her two loving daughters Suzanne Couturier and her husband Paul of PA and Therese Regan of NY; her siblings Paul Archambault and his wife Doris and Therese Archambault. Jenny left quite a legacy of four generations with four children, nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and one on the way as well. She also loved and cherished her special niece and “adopted son” Andrea and Tom Martel; as well as several nieces and nephews who adored her.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her two sons, Fr. Denys Cormier in 1998 and David L. Cormier in 2016. She is also predeceased by her four brothers, Louis Archambault and his wife Irene, Lucien Archambault and his wife Irene, Maurice Archambault and his wife Jackie, and Andre Archambault.

Fly High Mom, thanks for loving us all unconditionally. You will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
