Madeleine Denise Dumont

Madeleine Denise Dumont, 74, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Born on May 4, 1950, in Nashua, NH, she was the beloved daughter of the late Elgin Dumont and Bibianne (Goyette) Dumont.

A dedicated scholar, Madeleine earned her master’s degree from Rivier College, a testament to her lifelong love of learning. She had a passion for adventure and found immense joy in traveling, especially her cherished trips to Europe and Monaco. Closer to home, she delighted in shopping, dining out, and taking scenic trips to Maine especially Rockport. However, nothing brought her more peace than time spent by the ocean, as she deeply loved the beach and the serenity it provided.

Madeleine’s kindness, warmth, and adventurous spirit will be missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever cherish the moments shared with her.

Madeleine is survived by her sister and her best friend Louise Dumont of Nashua; and her cousins Maurice Dumont & Lynda Wright of Alberta, Canada.

Family and friends are invited to Madeleine’s graveside service on Wednesday, April 2nd at 2 PM at St. Louis Cemetery, 752 W. Hollis Street, Nashua.
