Madeleine Martel

Madeleine Martel (78) of Nashua, New Hampshire passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. Madeleine is preceded in death by her loving husband, Sinclair Martel, parents, Roland and Dora Michaud, and brother, Richard Michaud. She is survived by her brother, Paul Michaud and his wife Fran of Nashua NH, friend and care giver, Karen Fanelli, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Maddy was born in Nashua New Hampshire and moved to Northern Virginia after high school. She worked for the Department of State for 31 years. Her last job was Personal Assistant to the Ambassador at Large, Robert Gallucci. Maddy was very active in her parishes and had many volunteer jobs.

Relatives and friends are invited to Madeleine’s visitation on TUESDAY, November 16th from 4 until 6 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Louis de Gonzague Catholic Church, 48 W. Hollis Street, Nashua on WEDNESDAY, November 17th at 10 AM. Interment to follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua. Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or a charity of your choosing.
