Maria (Gomes) Domingues passed away on March 10, 2026.


She was born on October 18, 1939, in Sintra, Portugal, the daughter of Diogo Gomes and Antonieta (Teixeira) Gomes. Maria later made her home in Nashua, New Hampshire, where she built a life centered on family, hard work, and community.


Maria was the beloved wife of Patrick Domingues for 68 wonderful years. They came to the United States in 1970 and built their life here in Nashua .She dedicated many years of service to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, where she worked as a central processing technician. Through her work, she quietly supported the care of countless patients and was respected by colleagues for her dedication and reliability.


Maria will be remembered for her kindness, her strong work ethic, and the love she shared with those around her. A woman of deep and enduring faith, Maria found strength and comfort in her beliefs throughout her life. Anyone who knew her will remember the warm smile that brightened every room she entered.


Above all, Maria cherished her family and especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren.


In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Maria Terrio and her husband Bill; her son Cesar Domingues and his wife Sandra; and her daughter Dr. Ana Domingues and her husband Andy Martin. She also leaves behind nine beloved grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
