Marian Pleakas, 85, died peacefully with her niece by her side, on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at Nashua Crossing.
Marian was born in Zoni, Greece, on February 6, 1936, and was the daughter of the late Alexandra (Pappas) Pleakas and Peter Pleakas.
For many years, she owned many properties in the City of Nashua, and she was also employed by the family business, The Transfer Luncheonette.
Marian was an extremely hard worker and enjoyed traveling. She was truly dedicated to her loving family. You can stop by the mural in Downtown Nashua to visit the tribute to Marian and her family for the dedication and love to the city.
Marian is survived by her two nieces, Vanessa Thomas of New Hampshire and Renee Strampello of California; her two great-nieces, Chandra and Anjali Strampello; and her cousin Christopher Pappas and his wife Betty of New Jersey.
Marian was predeceased by her sister, Elaine Thomas.
Relatives and friends are invited to Marian’s visitation on SATURDAY, November 20th from 10 until 11 AM in ST. PHILIP GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 500 W Hollis Street, Nashua, NH. Her Funeral Service will follow in the church at 11 AM. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashua. Arrangements entrusted to the care of ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.
