Mario Boldini Obituary

Mario L. Boldini, 81, died peacefully on Friday morning, March 9, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Irene (Brodeur) Boldini of Nashua.

Mario was born in Chester, MA on February 25, 1937 and was the son of the late Argentino and Marion B. (Kingsley) Boldini.

Mario had been educated in Chester, MA, Milford, NH and in Nashua, NH. He had been employed by the former J.F. McElwain Shoe Co. and later at Nashua Corporation, retiring from there in 1994 after 25 years. Mario then opened his own janitorial service in 1995.

Mario was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, Chapter #5472. He was also a dedicated parishioner of the Parish of the Resurrection in Nashua. Mario enjoyed music, dancing, trips to Hampton Beach and the many drives to N.B., Canada and across the country. He also enjoyed visiting many foreign countries and islands. Above all, he cherished his time spent with his family.

Besides his wife of 49 years, Mario is survived by his two daughters, Jo-Lynn Boldini-Johnson and her husband Derek of Seattle, WA and Leta Dineen and her husband Dan of Rothesay, N.B. Canada; One granddaughter (his pride and joy), Olivia E. Power; A brother, Rick Boldini of Philadelphia, PA; two sisters-in-law, Lucille Caron of Lowell, MA and Alma Raskiewicz of Nashua; and his beloved dog Pepino.

Mario was predeceased by a sister, Concetta Boldini and a brother, Albert “Pete” Boldini.

Per Mario’s request, there are no public visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on THURSDAY, March 15th at 11 AM in Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad St, Nashua. Everyone is invited to meet at the church. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Milford at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad St., Nashua, NH 03063 or to Home Health & Hospice Care, 7 Executive Park Dr., Merrimack, NH 03054.
