Marsha Anne Painter

Marsha Anne Painter, 71, of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025, at Massachusetts General Hospital, surrounded by loved ones.

Born on July 13, 1954, in Woburn, Massachusetts, Marsha was the beloved daughter of the late David and Anne (Marshall) Trenholm. She was the devoted wife of Stephen Painter until his passing in 2011.

Marsha worked for many years with United Healthcare and previously at Suisse Chalet in Wilton, NH. Known for her strong work ethic and warm personality, she built lasting friendships throughout her professional life.

A woman of many passions, Marsha found joy in quilting, playing cribbage at Club National, and spending time with her family. She was always up for a game show, could spend hours on Candy Crush, and cherished visiting with her friends at the club. She had a caring spirit and was known for always making sure everyone around her was looked after and felt included.

Marsha's presence, humor, and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Marsha is survived by her three children Heather Baez and her fiancé Derek Lane of Nashua, Scott Painter and his wife Lori of Merrimack, and Brian Painter and his wife Crystal of Manchester; her five grandchildren Dylan, Kaelyn and her significant other Alex, Mayah, Braydon, and Brielle; her great grandson Marcellus; her two siblings Lisa Ring and her husband Frank of Manchester and David Trenholm and his wife Nicole of Hudson; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ina addition to her husband Stephen, Marsha was predeceased by her sister Brenda Gagne.

Family and friends are invited to Marsha’s visitation on FRIDAY, October 3rd from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her interment will take place on TUESDAY, October 7th at 1 PM at Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marsha’s name to Massachusetts General by visiting their website.
