Maurice Armand Thiboutot, 77, of Litchfield, passed away at the Grace House of Windham on June 14, 2025. Born on August 2, 1947, in Nashua, he was the son of the late Armand Cyrille Thiboutot and Yvette Marie (Marcoux) Thiboutot Chase.
A graduate of Nashua High School, Maurice chose a career in the HVAC industry, serving as the respected owner of Airtech Heating & Air Conditioning for over 35 years. Known throughout the community for his integrity, reliability, and strong work ethic, he earned the trust and high regard of countless clients and colleagues.
In his spare time, Maurice found joy in creative expression through hands-on craftsmanship and constructing his home. He was an accomplished drummer, a talented painter, and had a passion for woodworking and carpentry—approaching every project with enthusiasm and pride. Adventurous at heart, he embraced the excitement of roller coasters and skydiving, yet he equally cherished quiet moments—savoring a cup of coffee by his stone fireplace while watching the news or taking a drive in his beloved Jaguar. Maurice had a deep appreciation for both art and science. A lover of music, he enjoyed listening and playing, and his curious and analytical mind kept him engaged with the world around him. Maurice was known for his sharp wit, often ready with a clever turn of phrase or a well-timed joke.
Above all, Maurice was a proud father. He is survived by his daughters, Jessica Monson of Windham and Jennifer Mace and her husband, Joseph, also of Windham. He leaves behind his grandchildren; Joshua Harrison, Avery Monson, and Adrienne Monson; his siblings, Lorraine Paul and her husband Robert of Nashua, and his brother, Roland Thiboutot of Tampa, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Arlene Bujold, and his brother, Raymond Thiboutot.
Relatives and friends are invited to Maurice’s visitation on TUESDAY, June 24 from 4-7 p.m. at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Words of remembrance will be shared at 6:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Nashua Soup Kitchen by visiting https://nsks.org/. His interment will be held privately.
