Melissa Anne Blow, age 70, passed away at home after a lengthy illness with her husband, Leo A. Blow, Jr., at her side.

Melissa was born in Nashua on September 5, 1950. She was the daughter of the late Robert Earl Jr. and Irene (Reynolds) Lovejoy. Melissa grew up in Nashua and attended Sacred Heart School of St. Patrick's Church. She graduated from Nashua High School in 1968. Later in life, she attended Rivier College in the two-year Paralegal Program. Melissa began her career at Nashua Corporation in Nashua in the International Export Department and later moved on to the Label Division.  She enjoyed her time at Nashua Corporation; it afforded her the opportunity  for traveling the country for  the company.  Later in her career, Melissa moved on to work for Oxford Health Company as an Enrollment Specialist.

Melissa was married to Leo A. Blow, Jr. on June 5, 1971, and took great pride in celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on June 5, 2021. It was Leo's greatest honor and privilege to walk through life with Melissa by his side.

In her leisure time, she enjoyed many hobbies such as knitting, tole painting, deep involvement in the family's ancestry, and Saturday-night card games with her husband and cousins.

Melissa excelled in all things she attempted and always stepped in to help whether as a Dugout Mom for the Little League or a Cub Scout board member for a Cub Scout Pack in the Algonquin District.

She loved and cared about her family and friends very much and will be missed by all.

Melissa was predeceased by her son, Michael A. Blow, and only brother, Robert Earl Lovejoy, Ill.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Leo A. Blow, Jr., her son, Sean P. Blow, her grandson, Noah Patenaude of Tyngsboro, MA, granddaughter, Payton Blow, of Mont Vernon, NH, one aunt, Bernice Piercy, her close cousins, Rebecca Urbiel, Mary-Ellen Wells, Martha Piercy, Emily Huxtable, and Kelsey Aletti and many friends and relations.

All services will be held privately. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Nashua, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Melissa’s name to Home, Health, and Hospice, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054.
