In his free time, Michael enjoyed deep sea fishing and spending time outdoors, camping. He had a love for the ocean that extended to his collection of beautiful lighthouses which he also visited frequently especially his favorite, Peggys Cove in Nova Scotia and he also enjoyed sailing. He was a faithful and avid Boston Sports fan and also enjoyed reading. Known as a movie buff, Michael maintained an extensive movie collection. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family who will deeply miss him.
