Michael "Mike" Thurlow

Michael “Mike” Thurlow, 54 of Nashua N.H. passed away suddenly and peacefully on Monday, November 15, 2021.

Mike was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on December 7, 1966, and is the son of Winfield “Skip” and Linda (Plante) Thurlow of Thomasville, North Carolina. He was educated in the Lowell School System.

For most of his adult life, he was employed as a sheet rocker in the construction industry.

In his free time, Mike had a passion for music and playing his guitars. He had a great ear for music, since a young age he would listen to a song and learn to play it on the guitar all by himself. He inspired others to learn to play the guitar also. He was also a true creative artist and had a talent for drawing. He will forever be remembered as the person to make you laugh and feel happy, his energetic presence and humor would light up a room. He was kindhearted, caring and would help anyone in need. Mike was also an avid animal lover, especially his pets, his cat, Lucky, and his late dog Ozzy, who he had for 25 years. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his loving family, especially time at family gatherings.

In addition to his parents, Linda and Skip, he is survived by his lifelong partner and companion Kara Rudolph of Nashua, his two sisters, Linda Thurlow of Litchfield and Cheri Dubois and her husband Marc of Londonderry. He is also survived by his five nieces and nephews, Nicky Sawyer and her significant other Paul Healey, Jason Sawyer and his girlfriend Carolyn Coulter, Kevin Sawyer, Corinne (Dubois) Madison and her husband Zach and Connor Dubois as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to Mike’s visitation on TUESDAY, November 23rd from 5 until 8 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. A brief prayer service and eulogy will be held during his visitation at 6:15PM. His Funeral Mass will be held on WEDNESDAY, November 24th at 10 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E. Dunstable Road, Nashua. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will be held at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mike’s name to the Nashua Humane Society, 24 Ferry Road, Nashua.
