Michael “Mike” James Guidry, Sr, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Courville at Nashua, New Hampshire after a protracted battle with Corticobasal degeneration (CBD).
Mike was a life-long resident of Lafayette, Louisiana where he worked as a gas station service technician for his father’s business Southwest Services, and eventually his own company, Mike Guidry Services. He enjoyed providing excellent service to his customers and loved spending time outdoors. Mike was passionate about planting trees for future generations and most happy sitting in a chair on his porch drinking coffee and petting his loyal dog, Jolie.
Mike is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Conque Guidry; his son, Michael J. Guidry, Jr. and his wife Rebecca; his daughter, Shelley L. Guidry; his son, Ryan N. Guidry; his daughter, Nicole Haber; his seven grandchildren, Lucy Guidry, Claudia Guidry, James Guidry, Netanya Haber, Margaret Guidry, William Guidry, and Keene Guidry; and his sisters, Debra “Debbie” McWilliams, Ann Rives, and Barbara Rollins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas “T.J.” Guidry, Sr. and the former Rosemary “Rose” Schiller; his sister, Connie Marie Guidry; and his brother Thomas “Tom” Justin Guidry, Jr.

Family and friends are invited to Mike’s visitation on TUESDAY, February 6th from 4 until 6 PM at Rochette Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua NH, and his funeral mass WEDNESDAY, February 7th at 10 AM at St. John Neumann, 708 Milford Road, Merrimack, NH.
