Nicholas Ryan Lawrence, 28, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 14, 2026 in Manchester following his struggle with addiction.
Nicholas was born in Winchester, Massachusetts on October 25, 1997 and is the beloved son of Kel Karl E. Lawrence and Ginger (Kapala) Coupal. He attended schools in the Dracut, Massachusetts and Bedford, New Hampshire school system and was a graduate of Beford High School with the class of 2016.
Nick had a beautiful soul and a wide range of passions that reflected his creative spirit and adventurous heart. He loved music deeply and had a remarkable talent for playing many different instruments. Nick found joy in skateboarding and cherished the time he spent with friends. He was drawn to motorsports and anything that gave him the thrill of speed and freedom. Nick also had a special love for animals, who seemed naturally drawn to his gentle and kind nature. He will be remembered for his creativity, artistic abilities, unforgettable “big bear hugs,” and his ability to make others smile. His infectious smile had a way of brightening every room and bringing happiness to those around him. Above all else, Nick treasured time with his family and those he loved most. He had a particularly special bond with the “the little ones” in his life, who felt safe, comforted, and loved in his presence.
He is survived by his mother Ginger Coupal and her husband Alan of Dracut, MA; his father, Karl “Kel” Lawrence and his wife Sheryl of New Boston, NH; his siblings, Ashlynn Kaminer and her husband Charles, Andre Coupal and his wife Lori, Joelynn Folger and her husband Nick, Jacqueline Roberge and Jacob Roberge. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Suzanne “Memere” and Raymond “Grandpa” Kapala Sr.; his paternal grandmother, Sandra “Grammie” Lawrence; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Sadly, Nicholas was predeceased by his cousin David Sweet.
Relatives and friends are invited to Nick’s visitation on THURSDAY, May 21st from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Cremation will follow.
