Norbert Marquis Obituary
NASHUA—Norbert H. Marquis, age 87, passed away at his home in Nashua on November 27, 2018.
Born on June 26, 1931 in Nashua, he was the son of the late Camille and Rose (Ouellette) Marquis. He was the husband of Claire A. (Morissette) Marquis, with whom he spent many wonderful years of marriage.
Norbert dedicated his life to protecting and serving the city of Nashua with the Nashua Police Department, and retired from there after 28 years.
Besides his beloved wife, Norbert is survived by his two daughters, Cynthia Marquis of Derry and Patricia Fribley and her husband Jerome of Brooksville, FL; his brother Raymond Marquis and his wife Pauline of Nashua; his brother-in-law Robert Coutu of Nashua; his 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was the dear brother of the late Helen Coutu.
A Visitation will be held for Norbert on Monday, December 3 from 10-11 a.m. at The Church of the Resurrection, 449 Broad St., Nashua. His Funeral Service will follow immediately after in the church at 11 a.m. His burial will be held on Tuesday, December 4 at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH at 11 a.m.
