Normand J
Normand Joseph Roy, 86, of Nashua, passed away peacefully in the presence of his closest loved ones on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack. He was born January 9, 1939, in St. Victor, Quebec, Canada to Gideon and Agatha Roy.
Growing up he attended schools in Saint-Éphrem-de-Beauce, Canada. He was the beloved husband of Claudette (Plante) Roy with whom he shared 26 wonderful years of marriage with, prior to her passing in 1995. Together they built a life full of happiness, joy, and love.
Normand was an extremely hard worker, working as a contractor for over 50 years. You could always find him working on a project at his home whether it be adding additions to his house or enhancing his property. Normand always had his tools by his side. When he was not working, Normand enjoyed finding time to travel back to Canada.
He especially loved his family dog, Gus, who was truly a man’s best friend. Normand loved catching up with his friends, something that found him great happiness and laughter. Above all, Normand enjoyed the time spent with his family the most.
Normand is survived by his son Tony Roy and his wife Christine of Nashua; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, Normand was predeceased by his siblings Ghislaine, Gaetan, and Lily.
At the family’s request, there will be no formal services at this time.
