Patricia "Patty" Lynn (Forte) Whitney

Patricia “Patty” Lynn (Forte) Whitney, 58, of Nashua, died peacefully at her home on Monday morning, July 19, 2021. She is the beloved wife of Alan Martin Whitney with whom she shared 23 wonderful years of marriage.

Patty was born in Framingham, Massachusetts on January 15, 1963, was raised in Natick, MA, and graduated from Natick High School. She is the loving daughter of Elizabeth (Relf) and Frederick J. Forte of Wellesley, MA.
For over 13 years, Patty was employed as a Senior Windows System Administrator at Monster Worldwide
 
In her free time, Patty enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, writing, playing board games, collecting art, cooking, and in her youth, square dancing. She truly loved cooking in large quantities for family gatherings. Patty and her husband loved to travel, mainly by cruising, to various tropical destinations. She will forever be remembered for her fun-loving spirit, laughter and the compassion she had for all. Always thoughtful, caring, and selfless, Patty was the glue that held her family tightly together. She never missed a birthday, holiday, or special occasion, making sure her nearest and dearest always knew just how much they were loved. To begin to say how much she will be missed cannot be put into words. Patty cherished time spent with her family, particularly with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Alan, and her parents, Elizabeth, and Frederick, she is survived by her three sons: Chris Weier and his fiancée, Leila Alamo of Weare, NH; Jason Weier and his wife, Dr. Jaclyn Weier of Londonderry, NH; and Jonathan Whitney of Nashua, NH, as well as her stepdaughter, Amanda Fournier, and her husband, Brendan of Goffstown, NH; her stepson, Gregory Whitney, and his partner, Rowanne Bafegeeh of Manchester, NH. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren- with one on the way – as well as her three sisters: Joanne Leroux and her partner, Craig Atkinson of Greensboro, NC; Carolyn Straus and her husband, Doug Straus of Dover, MA, and Debbie Forte, and her husband Doug Landry of Natick, MA, several nieces, and nephews as well as former husband Daniel Weier of Nashua NH. 

Patty was also predeceased by her brother, Anthony Relf Forte.

Relatives and friends are invited to Patty’s visitation on TUESDAY, July 27th from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Service will take place in the Funeral Home during visitation at 6:45 PM. Burial will take place at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patty’s name to Joslin Diabetes Center, One Joslin Place, Suite 745, Boston, MA 02215 or to American Ambulance and Medical Rescue Service, Inc., 38 Raleigh Drive, Nashua, NH 03060.
