Paul V. Gentile Jr. of Nashua, NH, died on March 10, 2025 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. He was 70.
Born on March 25, 1954 to the late Paul V. Gentile Sr. and Chiarina (Nicotera) Harrigan of Harwich, MA, he attended public schools in Belmont, MA as well as the Devereux School in Rutland, MA and Devereux Brandywine school in Glenmoore, PA. He lived for many years in Belmont and Watertown, MA before relocating to New Hampshire.
A gifted musician and artist, he played the guitar, fiddle, lap steel guitar, piano and also sang. Mr. Gentile performed with groups such as Hearts on Fire, Nuff Said, the Shana Stack Band, the Blackwater Band, Mike Walker and Durango, the Mike Cummings Band and other rock, country and blues artists during more than 50 years of playing music and performing in New Hampshire and around New England. He also spent time in Nashville performing and making recordings with Mike Walker and Durango.
Mr. Gentile also enjoyed fishing in New Hampshire waterways, acquiring automotive related collectibles, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with family and friends during the holidays - especially Christmas Eve.
For many years he was the beloved partner of the late Marilyn Morgan, who passed away in October 2021. He leaves a daughter, Tenaya Freitas, and a granddaughter, Hannah, both of Teaticket, MA as well as former spouses Linda Andrews of Nashua, NH and Roseanne Marcoux (Addonizio), as well as many cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 30 at Martha’s Exchange in Nashua, NH at 1PM.
