NASHUA- Pauline H. (Clark) Gandy, 93, died peacefully on Sunday May 24, 2020, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack surrounded by her loving family.
Pauline was born in Morven, Georgia on May 18, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Ida Pearl (Piland) Boone and her late husband William Boone.
She proudly served her country in the United States Army until she was honorably discharged in December of 1945.
For many years, Pauline worked as an assembler Chiclets Gum. Most recently, she was employed as a cashier for Hill Supermarket in New York.
In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, watching golf, and her favorite show, Family Feud. In her younger years, he loved to dance. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her loving family.
Pauline is survived by her two children, Harry Clark and his wife Pat of Frederick, Maryland and Raymond Clark and his wife Carla Sella of Nashua; his four grandchildren, Christine Shipe and her husband Kevin of Maryland, James Clark of Frederick, Maryland, Emily Kopera and her husband Jason of Manchester, and Amy Karjala and her husband Alex of Pasadena, Maryland. She is also survived by her five great-grandchildren Jordan and Samantha Shipe, Connor Kopera, and Violet and Bronson Karjala.
She was predeceased by her son Roger H. Clark Jr., and her daughter Janet McCarthy.
Due to current public health and safety concerns, funeral services for Pauline will be limited to immediate family members and held privately. Interment will take place in the New Hampshire State Veteran Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
