Peter John Just, best known to family and friends as “PJ,” of Hudson, NH, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, at the age of 50.
Born on November 21, 1974, in Methuen, MA, PJ was the beloved son of Walter Just and Geraldine (Katin) Themelis. He grew up in Hudson and graduated from Alvirne High School, where the values of hard work and perseverance first took root—qualities that would come to define his life.
For over 20 years, PJ devoted himself to his role as a warehouse manager at Bake N Joy where he was admired for his reliability and leadership. He took pride in his work and found satisfaction in the simple routines that grounded his days.
PJ was a man who found joy in the everyday. The simple things brought him the most happiness…fishing at his local spots, family camping trips, grilling in true New England fashion through every season, keeping up his yard, and the occasional round of golf. A devoted New England sports fan, he rarely missed a Patriots or Red Sox game, cheering faithfully through every season. More than anything, he cherished time spent with his grandson, whose laughter and dance moves brought light into his life. PJ lived simply and with intention, never asking for much but always giving of himself.
He will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering routine, and deep love for his family.
PJ is survived by his family and friends who loved him deeply. His presence will be missed, but the memories he created will live on in the lives he touched.
Peter is survived by his daughter Brittany L. Duclos and her husband Paul Jr. of Pelham; his grandchildren Jameson Duclos, Bentley Duclos, and Daliyah Duclos; his father Walter Just and his wife Kathleen of Nashua; his mother Geraldine Themelis of Dracut; his sisters Ashley Just, and Beth Roberson; and his nephew Elijah.
He was predeceased by his stepfather William Themelis and his brother Michael Just.
Family and friends are invited to Peter's visitation on WEDNESDAY August 20th from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME & CREMAITON SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
