Pia (Cinches) Borromeo, 92, died peacefully on Saturday April 18, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Bienvenido “Ben” Y. Borromeo with whom she shared 57 years of marriage prior to his passing on May 11, 2020.

Pia was born in Bilar Bohol, Philippines on August 8, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Norbert and Pia (Macalolot) Cinchez. She received her nursing degree in the Philippines.

For many years, she worked in the field of nursing, her most recent being at the former Memorial Hospital, currently Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

In her free time, Pia found great joy in knitting and creating latch hook rugs, crafts that reflected her patience and creativity. She was an extremely faithful person, devoted to her prayers and praying the rosary daily. She never passed up an opportunity to spend time with friends in Maine, where many cherished memories were made. Above all, Pia treasured the moments she shared with her family, whom she loved deeply. Her children and grandchildren were truly the light of her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pia is survived by her son Barney Borromeo and his wife Brandy of Middleboro, MA and her daughter-in-law, Sue Borromeo of Nashua; her step-son, Bienvenido Borromeo Jr and his wife Clara of the Philippines as well as her nine grandchildren, Benjamin, Patrick, Paige, Bryson, Brady, Braden, MacKenzie, Xyris Dianne, and Yvonne.

Sadly, in addition to her parents and husband, Ben, she was predeceased by her son Brian Borromeo.

Relatives and friends are invited to Pia’s visitation on TUESDAY, April 28th from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will be held on WEDNESDAY, April 29th at 9 AM in St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring Street, Nashua. Her interment will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Nashua.
