Pierrette G. Berube

Pierrette Gabrielle (Berube) Berube, 95, died peacefully Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Fairview Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Arthur Berube and whom she married February 15, 1947.

A Nashua native, she was born on March 24, 1925.  She was the last surviving child of the late Pierre and Marie Louise (Dionne) Berube.

She graduated from St. Aloysius High School, Class of 1944.  She worked with her husband on a bus route and construction company that he owned on Cotton Rd., Nashua. She also worked at various jobs in the Nashua area while raising 4 sons.

She loved to play bingo and could be found at St. Stanislaus Hall on Pine Hill Road many times a week. She was a talented crafter. She could knit, crochet, do plastic canvas and could make anything from a picture in her earlier days.

She was predeceased by her brother Sylvio Berube and her 4 sisters, Theresa Guilbeault, Beatrice Berube, Jeannette Berube and Claire Benoit.

She is survived by her son Arthur Berube,Jr and his wife Diana of Amherst, Peter Berube and his wife Patricia of Brookline, Marc Berube and his wife Hae Sun of South Korea and Robert Berube and his wife Peggy of Londonderry, NH.

She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to current public health and safety concerns, funeral services for Pierrette will be held privately. Burial will take place in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua at a later date.
