Preston Findlay Rogers

Preston Findlay Rogers, 64, died peacefully on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington. He is the beloved husband of Cheryl (Daubon) Rogers with whom he shared 28 years of marriage.

Preston was born on June 3, 1961 and was born in Bermuda. He was the son of the late Hobart and Hannah (Findlay) Rogers. He received his education in New Jersey.

Early in his career, he was employed as Dick Raymond Inc. and most recently he worked as the parts managers and dispatcher for D&R Towing for many years.

Preston found his peace beneath open skies. He was most at home outdoors, whether casting a line while fishing, embracing his passion as a gun enthusiast, or answering any invitation to go camping. Evenings spent beside a crackling campfire, wrapped in the quiet and serenity of nature, brought him deep contentment. With a true green thumb, he lovingly cultivated a lush and plentiful vegetable garden each year. He also delighted in leisurely drives to far-off places, especially through the winding roads of New Hampshire’s White Mountains. Above all else, Preston treasured the moments shared with those he loved, holding them close to his heart.

In addition to his wife, Cheryl, he is survived by his son, John Burkart of Nashua and his two siblings, Thomas Rogers and his wife Judy of Virginia Beach, VA and Ron Slutter and his wife Nina of PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to Preston’s visitation on SATURDAY, January 31st from 11 AM until 1 PM at Rochette Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home at 1 PM. Interment will be held privately.
