Randy P. Wood, 59, of Hudson, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully at home on February 9, 2026.
Randy was born on July 13, 1966, in Lowell, Massachusetts, the son of Floyd and Theresa (Smith) Wood. He was the beloved spouse of Jacquelyn Ryan. The two shared four loving years together and were married for the last seven months of Randy’s life.
Randy was a graduate of Nashoba Valley Technical High School and dedicated more than 30 years of service as a mechanic at Nashoba Valley Ski Area, where he was known for his skill, reliability, and deep love of the mountain.
A true free spirit, Randy had a passion for riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles and could often be found taking long, leisurely rides—no matter the season. Winter never stopped him. One of his favorite and most memorable rides was a spontaneous trip to Lake George, New York, where he rode up just to have lunch and then turned around and came home the same day—simply for the joy of the ride.
Randy also loved skiing, flying RC planes, and was especially devoted to Witch’s Woods at Nashoba Valley, the annual haunted attraction where he enjoyed setting up props and working the event year after year.
Above all else, Randy will be remembered for his kind heart, friendly smile, and his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He touched many lives through his generosity, humor, and quiet strength, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife Jackie, Randy is survived by his son Ethan Wood of Townsend, MA; his siblings Debbie Robbins Sutela and her husband Ed of Windham, and Frank Robbins and his wife Karen of Bluffton, SC; he and Jackie’s favorite riding couple (the squirrels), Dan Lessard and his significant other Jo-An Fratini; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Family and friends are invited to Randy’s visitation on SATURDAY, February 14th form 2 until 4 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME & CREMAITON SERVCIES 21 Kinsley street, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations to support his wife, Jackie, with funeral expenses are deeply appreciated.
