Raoul J. Lacasse, 86, died at his home unexpectedly on Sunday, March 20, 2022. He is the beloved husband of Rollande (Bernard) Lacasse with whom he shared 62 years of marriage.
Raoul was born in La Guadeloupe, Canada on January 26, 1936 and was the son of the late Josphat and Alexandria (Dulac) Lacasse.
For many years, he was employed as a carpenter for Save On Walls in Hudson, NH and was a proud member of the Local 67 Union until his retirement.
In his free time, Raoul was an avid hockey fan and loved to watch many teams. He had a passion for splitting wood and tending to his wood stove in his home. Raoul enjoyed traveling, especially his many trips to Florida and cruising. He will be remembered for his hardworking nature, always making sure his family was provided for. He truly cherished time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandson.
In addition to his wife, Rollande, he is survived by his children, Nancy Seskes of Nashua and Michel Lacasse of Hudson; his eight grandchildren, Nicholas Lemoine and his wife Brittney, Andrea Bonenfant and her husband Corey, Katerina Sweeny, Paige Ortiz and her husband Joey, Danielle Seskes, Breanna Lacasse, Mitchell Seskes, and Taylor Lacasse, and his great-grandson Joey Raoul Ortiz. He is also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to Raoul’s visitation on THURSDAY, March 24th from 5 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Mass will be held on FRIDAY, March 25th at 10 AM at St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
