Remi L. Denis

Remi L. Denis, 81, died peacefully Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Fairview Nursing Home in Hudson. He was the husband of the late Laura (True) Denis.

Remi was born in Nashua on May 6, 1940, and was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Jane (Aubut) Denis.

For many years, he was employed as a sander for Batesville Casket Company.

Remi was a dedicated member of the Gate City Bible Church in Nashua. He enjoyed being around people and will be remembered for his love to be social. While at Fairview Nursing, he loved being around people, partaking in happy hour which included music and camaraderie with other residents. Remi took pride in making people laugh and always had a joke to tell. He also appreciated his snack foods, Little Debbies, and would always share with the nurses. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his loving family.

Remi is survived by his sister and caregiver, Marguerite Girard of Hollis, his niece and caregiver, Vivian Girard of Hollis; his niece, Ann Marie Maceachern and her husband Matt of Hudson; his great-nieces, Chloe and Genevieve as well as his son, Remi L. Denis Jr. of Nashua, daughter Rita Denis of Nashua; his grandson Robert Schartner as well as many nieces and nephews.

Remi was predeaced by his brother, Roger Denis and his brother-in-law Armand Girard.

At the request of Remi’s family, all services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Remi’s name to the Nashua Humane Society, 24 Ferry Road, Nashua, NH 03064. Arrangements entrusted to the care of ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.
