Richard Taylor

Richard D. Taylor, 86, died peacefully on March 28, 2022. He is the beloved husband of Janice (Cobleigh) Taylor with whom he spent 65 years of marriage.   

Richard was born in Nashua, NH on May 20, 1935, and was the son of the late George and Germaine (Soucy) Taylor.  

Richard worked in Nashua for most of his career starting at J.F. McElwain where he met his future wife.  He was also employed for many years at International Paper Box Machine Company and later worked at Nashua Industrial Machine Corporation until his retirement. 

In his free time, Richard could be found reading, tending to his organic garden or fixing a lawnmower. He was always ready to lend a helping hand.  However, his most cherished time was spent taking a morning walk with his wife.   

In addition to his wife Janice, he is survived by his son Brian Taylor and his wife Lyn of Hudson, his daughter, Lynne Garrison and her husband David of Ridgecrest, CA; his grandchildren, Jessica Taylor, Gregory Taylor, David Taylor; Michael Garrison and his wife Ann; Amanda Taylor, Jeffrey Taylor and his wife Taylor; and his great-granddaughter, Angelynn.    

Richard was predeceased by his son Cary Taylor in January of 2022, his brother, John “Jack” Taylor, and his sister Margaret Gaudette.   

Relatives and friends are invited to Richard's Funeral Service on WEDNESDAY, April 6th at 10 AM in ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Interment will take place at the convenience of his family.
